WELCOME TO DETECT SERVICES
We service air monitoring equipment. Repair, calibration and maintenance services are provided on variety of gas detectors. These detectors are designed to detect gases well before they become harmful. Safety Instruments provide both in-house service on portable equipment and field service of fixed (stationary) systems. We inspect, test and calibrate each detector to meet manufacturer performance specifications. Parts subject to deterioration such as sensors, batteries and filters are replaced at regular service intervals, to insure proper operation.
We provide Monthly, Quarterly and Semi-Annual service agreements. A service report is sent to the equipment owner after each service visit. The report outlines all work performed, all calibration and test data, the calibration equipment used, as well as the service technician’s name.
Calibration
Air monitors require regular calibration. These meters have sensors that designed much like a battery and deteriorate as they age. We use NIST traceable gas standards, as specified by the manufacturer to calibrate each gas detector we service.
Maintenance
Maintenance is required on all gas detectors to insure they work properly. Maintenance includes but is not limited to sensor replacement, filter replacement, pump cleaning and replacement if needed.

Repair
Air monitors typical repairs involve: the replacement of pumps, battery packs, flow blocks and tubing as well as the replacement of modular assemblies such as circuit boards and displays.
